We Christians aren't here to collect pleasurable experiences for ourselves; we're here to sacrifice our lives, just as Jesus did.
If your clergy aren't living like this -- if you aren't living like this -- you're doing it wrong.
Did Jesus ever have a good time? Sure; more than once. But that wasn't His primary focus here on Earth. Get it?
