Christian abuse survivors are constantly invalidated by narcissists of all philosophical persuasions, but almost no invalidation causes more lasting damage than that experienced at the hands of those who are commanded to love us like siblings.
This is control and manipulation of the highest order. The narcissist can't stand the thought that you might have had some traumatic experience that would cause compassionate others to swarm around you, and make you -- rather than the narcissist -- the center of attention.
